The Lovenotes 2014 Christmas Tour

Christmas poster 2014
We're thrilled to have Rose back with us this Christmas. Last year she was busy with brand new, beautiful baby daughter, Jodie, and we only dared to do one Christmas concert without her. This year we've decided to branch out and as well as Manchester, we're heading to Hebden Bridge and Kendal. We loved being at St. John's in Old Trafford last year, so we're returning there (if you were at the concert there last year, you'll be pleased to know that a new heating system has been installed so you won't be needing blankets!).

We'll be performing all our old favourite festive numbers and a few new ones too. The Hebden Bridge and Kendal audiences will also get to hear our sinister folk tale for a winter's night that we introduced in Manchester last year, and those lucky folk in Kendal will get an extra treat, with a guest performance from the very lovely Pandora's Handbag.

Of course, you get the chance to join in too by coming to the workshop. You don't need any singing experience, just come along and enjoy singing some jolly festive songs in gorgeous harmony!

TOUR DATES:
Thursday 18th December: Kendal Town Hall
Highgate, KENDAL, South Lakes LA9 4DL
Access: This venue is fully accessible, including toilets.

Friday 19th December: Hope Baptist Chapel

Access: Main entrance on New Road has steps - there is a wheelchair accessible entrance on Cheetham Street. There is one step up to the women's toilet and there are 2 steps down to the men's toilet.

Saturday 20th December: St John's Community Centre and Church
St. John's Road, Old Trafford, MANCHESTER M16 7GX

The Lovenotes present: FOLK SHACK!

Saturday 23rd February 2013

A night of the best in folk and blues from a fine selection of musical acts from near and far (as far away as Leeds!!). This irresistable evening of musical treats was hosted by (and featured) the Lovenotes, and raised a wodge of money for the Albert Kennedy Trust, which supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans homeless young people in crisis. http://www.akt.org.uk/

It was such a successful evening on every level that we hope to host another similar evening later in the year. Watch this space!
